Diffusing Essential Oils
Diffusing is one of the most effective and convenient ways to experience the many effects
of essential oils. It's a perfect way to improve your home, work or study environment.
Purify your air by diffusing oils such as Purification or Lemon.
For invigorating effects diffuse oils such as Peppermint or Clarity.
Diffusing oils
in the classrooms has been widely researched for their ability to improve accuracy and memory.
Our diffuser is designed to disperse a micro-fine mist of therapeutic-grade essential
oils into the atmosphere of a home or office. I have used other diffusers myself and
found them to be a terrible disappointment.
It's important to use cold air when diffusing to avoid damaging the fragile essential
oil compounds. The oils remain most effective it they are not heated when diffused.
When experiencing the diffuser for the first time - limit use to 5 -10 minutes.
Lengthen the time to suit your needs. You may use it continuously if you choose, but
it isn't usually necessary.
To use the diffuser simply pour 15 or 20 drops of oil into the well. This is enough
to get the diffuser going. Add a little more if you're going to be running it for
some time.
Diffuse a variety of oils - single and blends - to help you discover their benefits.
Single oils can be added to blends or to other single oils, but don't add a blend to
a blend.
You can change the oils as you choose. Diffuse the oil in the well till it is empty
and then add the new oil or blend. If there is too much oil left to diffuse, use a
clean eye dropper to return the oil to it's bottle (of course this is not an option
if you have "custom" blended oil in the well).
When cleaning the diffuser:
- Disconnect the plastic tubing from the Oil well.
- Remove the glass nebulizer and clean it with soapy water or rubbing alcohol. Seal both of the ends with your fingers and shake. Rinse well and let dry.
- Remove and clean the metal jet thoroughly. A cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol will clean the inside of the jet and a needle will clean the hole in the jet.
- Clean the inside of the well with rubbing alcohol or hot, soapy water. Rinse well and dry.
- It's not necessary to wash the well each time you use it. I find that once a week is sufficient.
- Enjoy your diffuser it's such a joy!
