HydroTherapy History
Mr Terry Skrinjar invented the BEFE Hydro-Therapy System (The Q Machine) in Australia in early 1996. The original System before it was developed into its present form was somewhat similar in fashion to the product you can now purchase. The original System used to be called a Gizmo and was rather large and bulky since the ability to produce the correct size System was not in our capabilities at the time. Since its original conception it has certainly developed into a product that is a lot more practical and user friendly. The System was very large and even a little frightening in appearance, most of all it was not very practical and was very difficult to service. However its ability to perform the functions it was designed to do amazed us and gave us the drive to continue on and develop a more practical version since its effectiveness and potential were impressive. The idea that we could refine the System to a stage were it could be used in the home by everyone for a greater quality of life was all we needed.
The second System was
certainly more attractive even thought the technology was the same, but still it
too was a little fragile for commercial distribution. The System pictured on the
left here, is the System that was developed so the technology was more compatible
with what people expected and could accept. It was called the series 2 with which a lot of
trial work was also done. Once we had made sure that the technology was still
working correctly in this new design we set out to development a sturdier more
practical version that became known as the as series 3 System.
The third System is the series 3 but
one of the first versions of its type. We battled onwards to develop quite a number of
different types of the series 3 until we were happy that the System was a lot
more practical and serviceable without losing any of the original effects and
abilities of the technology. Some Systems became available to the public while
others never got past the drawing board.
