I have had bowel incontinence for almost a year because of having a hole in my small intestine "J" pouch. Ten years ago I had an operation to remove my entire large intestine because of 25 years of ulcerative colitis. They made this pouch out of my small intestine as a holding tank, but it sprung a leak. After just one session I felt 80% better. I was able to eat some food in the morning and at lunch before I went to work in the afternoon. For months I would not dare eat and most of the time not even dare to drink water all day in fear of constantly running to the bathroom to evacuate.
